Teddy Bear Charm by BaLaNcIngHiMe Teddy Bear Charm by BaLaNcIngHiMe
My first crocheted cellphone charm! :)
He stands at about 2 inches tall, google says that's about 5.08 cm! :icondaawplz:

This is a terrible picture but I was sick of waiting for it to get sunny over the weekend so I took it anyways. . . will hopefully edit it with a better picture later! :) He's cuter in real life I promise!!! :iconorzplz:

The loop on his head is for a phone . . . but I'm worried it'll wear really quickly . . . any ideas on how to make it more durable? OR where I can get cell phone straps for a decent price?

Anyways, this was a really fun and quick project, gotta remember how I made it . . . I wrote down the pattern for his feet . . . can roughly remember the pattern for his head annnd that's it :( but we'll see! :)

Why don't you just put a jump ring on him and use a chain. Much more durable and you can buy the jump rings in the jewelry findings section of most stores.

I have jump rings, but a chain won't fit on my phone's strap hook :( I like need a thin string that's strong enough to hold up to wear and tear, I think my only option is to buy cell phone straps in bulk, if I buy a hundred they're usually cheaper, :/

Ouch :( Well if not, then you can get some jewelry wire (it threads just like the phone strap strings) run it around the strap hook twice and then hang the chain from that wire. The wire is about $2 at the store near me. Very sturdy that way. Maybe take a pic or your phone strap hook so I can have a better idea of what you are looking at or give a phone type and model so I can look it up online. I might be able to come up with something different that might work if this idea doesn't work. I just got challenged to make a couple of amigurumi so am looking at lots of those kinds of things at the moment.
